ABOUT ME

It was an impromptu freestyle competition in high school that changed Warren Wint's life plans. Born in New York, NY Warren Wint decided it was music or nothing and committed himself to the lyrical and soulful essence of Hip-Hop. With a love for poetry and musical influences from the late Michael Jackson, Tupac to Sade and J-Dilla, Warren became a student of the craft and sound. He mastered what we would call the "Warren Wint Sound". Infusing elements of Hip-Hop with an eclectic touch coming from sounds featuring Pop, Neo-Soul, R&B, Jazz and Gospel. Warren is getting ready to release his sophomore album, Father's Favorite which is set to be released thru his own record label, MWT Entertainment via Rival Distribution. Derived from his experiences with emotional support and his love for God, this album expresses his faith and exemplifies his confidence. (UPDATED FOR BIO)

IN THE BEGINNING…

It was an impromptu freestyle competition in high school that changed Warren Wint's life plans. Born in New York, NY Warren Wint decided it was music or nothing and committed himself to the lyrical and soulful essence of Hip-Hop. With a love for poetry and musical influences from the late Michael Jackson, Tupac to Sade and J-Dilla,Warren became a student of the craft and sound. He mastered what we call the "Warren Wint Sound", but where would his big break come from?

Warren Wint was added to the BET Network Show 106 & Park in the Summer of 2011 as an on-air hype man. That followed up with an appeareance on Ralph McDaniels' Video Music Box and a placement on the Empire State Mixtape, pioneered by Power 105.1's DJ Whutevva. The exposure gave Warren Wint a digital outlet, and his Youtube page amassed 100,000+ views.

Since then he has performed at the legendary Webster Hall, the Southpaw in NYC and the Billboard Lounge at the Barclay Center. He's, opened up for acts like PnB Rock, Teairra Mari, Fred The Godson, C.L Smooth & Chrisette Michele. In 2014, Warren performed at Loud Music Tour's SXSW show w/ Fred The Godson, Hot 97's Summer Jam w/ Ralph McDaniels and many other events helping lead to the release of his "They Talkin" single off of his project, "The Reset," followed by a video featuring Jack Thriller & Rich Homie Quan. In January 2018 Warren was featured in ESPN's Sunday Night Football Post Season Countdown as a music artist to watch.

Warren Wint recently released his mixtape, "Quiet As Kept," including singles, "Wasting Time," "Maybe," "This Way" and "High Low." Warren and his music have featured and aired atMTVU, MTV Base Africa, Music Choice, BET Jams, BET Soul, VEVO, Nick Music Verizon Fios VOD and more.
